Artisan/Transport Support Component of Survival Fund NG Lunched:
On the 1st of October 2020, the artisan / transport support scheme of the MSME Survival Fund was lunched.
The Artisan/Transport Support Scheme will cushion the effects of Covid-19 on the economic activities of artisans across Nigeria.
Artisan clusters identified for the MSME support grant include mechanics, barbers, hair stylists, bricklayers, tailors, plumbers, carpenters’ associations/unions with representations across all the states. Learn more here.

Survival Fund Lunched In Nigeria:
The MSME survival fund was lunched on the 21st of September 2020. The new Federal Government of Nigeria’s initiative is geared towards assisting vulnerable MSMEs affected by the global Coronavirus pandemic.
The Survival Fund scheme was lunched the Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment with a mission to support and protect MSMEs from the effects of COVID-19, through Payroll Support, Formalisation Support,General Grant etc. Learn more here.

The Payroll Support component of the survival was lunched together with parent Survival Fund scheme. For the payroll support, government’s target is to assist MSMEs pay backlog of their employees salary.
