Police Recruitment 2018 Requirements is Out.

Following the commencement of the recruitment exercise by the Nigeria Police Force, here are all the requirements and documents needed to apply for the job.

The need by the present Inspector Genearl (IG) to re-position the Force through capacity building calls for the recruitment of Police Officers of lower cadre into the Nigeria Police Force.

The Nigerian Police (NP) formerly The Nigeria Police Force is the principal law enforcement agency in Nigeria with a staff strength of about 371,800. There are currently plans to increase the force to 650,000, adding 280,000 new recruits to the existing 370,000.

Nigerai Police Recruitment 2018 Requirements:

In order to align with International standard and best practices and the United Nation Standard of Policing, the Nigerai Police Force needs virile and dynamic police officers for better service delivery and mitigiating emerging security challenges.

Interested candidates shall be of Nigerian origin by birth and possess National Identity Number (NIN). They must possess a minimum of 5 credits in not more than 2 sittings in WASSCE/GCE/NECO/NABTEB with credit passes in English and Mathematics and be aged between 18-25 years.

Applicants must be medically, physically, and psychologically fit and must not be less than 1.67mtrs tall for male and 1.64mtrs tall for female.

Candidates are to print their completed online forms, guarantor form and submit it at the examination / screening and recruitment centre. All appllicants MUST have readily available scanned copy of their- SSCE/ GCE/ NABTEB/ NECO Result, Birth Certificate, FSLC Result, LGA Certificate and Passport Photograph.
