List of Top 10 Most Sought-after Universities In Nigeria for 2018/2019 Admission.
Joint admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the list of ten most sought after universities in Nigeria for 2018/2019 academic session admissions.
In the recently released JAMB statistics, University of Ilorin had the highest number of UTME candidates with a total of 103,238 admission seekers.
The University of Benin followed in second place with 81,363 applicants with Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in third place with 75,383 candidates.
The 4th, 5th, and 6th most popular higher institutions are University of Nigeria, Nsukka with 65,954, Bayero University, Kano with 64,220 and Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka with 61,862 candidates respectively.
The University of Lagos placed seventh with 60,659 candidates while University of Ibadan came eight with 59,176 candidates.
Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife was in ninth position with 45,924 candidates and the University of Jos completed the top 10 with 40,366 candidates.
