The breakdown of academic activities is as follows;
FIRST SEMESTER:
- 4/03/2019 – New students come into residence for 2018/2019 Academic Session
- 5/03/2019 – Clearance begin for new students
- 18/03/2019 – Old students come into residence for 2018/2019 Academic Session
- 25/03/2019 – Lectures begin for 1st Semester of 2018/2019 Academic Session
- 14/06/2019 – First semester lectures end (12 weeks)
- 17/06/2019 – 21/06/2019 Revision (one week)
- 24/06/2019 – Examinations begin in Faculties of Education and Pharmacy.
- 28/06/2019 – CED Examinations
- 01/07/2019 – 12/07/2019 Other Faculties Examinations (two weeks)
- 15/07/2019 – 19/07/2019 General Studies Examinations
- 20/07/2019 – Students go down for first semester break.
SECOND SEMESTER:
- 03/08/2019 – Students come into residence for second semester
- 05/08/2019 – Lectures begin for second semester
- 25/10/2019 – Second semester lectures end
- 28/10/2019 – 01/11/2019 Revision (one week)
- 07/11/2019 – Examination begin in Faculties of Education and Pharmacy
- 08/11/2019 – CED Examinations
- 11/11/2019 – 22/11/2019 Other Faculties Examinations (two weeks)
- 25/11/2019 – 29/11/2019 General Studies Examinations
- 30/11/2019 – Students go down (End of 2018/2019 Academic Session)
- 02/12/2019 – 06/12/2019 Schools/ Faculties /Institutes/ Departments /Board of Studies meet to consider 2018/2019 Sessional Results
- 09/12/2019 – 13/12/2019 Business Committee of Senate meet to consider results for lower levels for 2018/2019 Academic Session
- 16/12/2019 – 20/12/2019 Senate meet to consider Sessional Results for higher levels for 2018/2019 Academic Session
- 04/01/2020 – New Students come into residence for 2019/2020 Academic Session
- 06/01/2020 – clearance begin for New Students
- 11/01/2020 – Old Students come into residence for 2019/2020 Academic Session
- 13/01/2020 – Lectures begin for first semester of 2019/2020 Academic Session.
