Recall that the FIRS chairman, Tunde Fowler, had stated sometime in November, 2016 that over 700,000 Nigerians applied for the job. But before then there had been allegations that any federal inland revenue service aptitude test for employment were mere formalities as names of children of the Nigerian elites had already been submitted for the job vacancies.
