Fire Outbreak At Okeke Hall Today.
Information reaching us has it that Okeke hall, the female hostel close to St. Peters Chaplaincy, was gutted by fire earlier this evening. As can be seen from the images below, the hostel has been badly burnt with the 300-series almost completely razed.
UNN Info learnt that efforts to put out the fire at the time it was raging didn’t yield any desired result. We can only hope and pray that the damage done on the student occupants and the school generally will be minimal.

Its quite unfortunate ds happened when students are on break. Authorities should address issues of security an electrical connections in de school. Authorities should urgently uncover de remote cause of de inferno an put proper steps in place to prevent such a disaster.

What causes fire that you want to know? as a critical mind you should go to the scene and see things for yourself. Don’t always base on hear says. meanwhile, UNN has to urgently address the electrical issues, the works department should be faulted for this, they hardly do a routine check. Allah’hu wa kubar

I am not surprise at this incident. Last week my room almost cut fire due to exposed wires, thank God we were all awake that night. Nevertheless, we even experience robbery .What is UNN doing for the safety of her students in the hotel? Merry Christmas in advance!
