1) Generate payment invoice using your Application Form Number from portal.unn.edu.ng
2) Pay the necessary fees at any bank using e-Tranzact,
3) Go back to the web and generate your admission letter, particulars of admission, and register your courses.
4) Go to the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Nigeria, Nsukka and Enugu Campuses to authenticate your registration with the following:
a. Two copies of the printed admission letter.
b. Two copies of the particulars of admission.
c. Two copies of the course registration forms.
d. Evidence of School fees payment (payment receipt)
e. The original credentials including NYSC certificate (Note: To whom it may concern will not be accepted)
5) Thereafter you will be directed on how to get your biometric data captured online.

– Follow the link below;

– Enter Your 6 digit Application form number in the space provided (if you are not sure of your Application Number, download the Applicants list here to confirm.
– Enter your temporarily Password as pgunn in the space provided,
– then click the LogIn button,
– click on the Payment tab at the top of the page,
– click on My Fees link at the right-hand side of the next page,
– Select the current session, level, then continue with other steps to Generate and Print Your Payment Invoices.

Newly admitted Pg students for enugu campus only- Bio data capture is presently on, it started 3rd of feb to end on the 7th of feb, Venue- Main Hall UNEC enugu campus, make 2 photocopies each of ur admission letter,school fees receipt and admission particulars. Staple as follows admission letter in front, followed by school fee receipt then admission particulars. Goodluck and don’t forget the deadline 7th of feb
@Ete’uk and concern citizen. I am one of those admitted for Pg in UNN but shown waye out because of letter of exclusion which I do not have. I passed through sandwich in a college affiliated to UNN and we were given an a letter that we were excluded to partake in Service due to sandwich nature of our couse. But now I am denied of admission because of NYSC letter of exclusion. Can I get such letter from NYSC when were not mobilised by UNN? Pls somebody help me.
@WINSOL: You can go to NYSC HEADQUARTERS for the EXEMPTION LETTER. It should won’t take long to process. Once u get it, u can go for verification and get the exemption letter included. Time is of essence

@ISA: I dont know how hostel accommodation procedure for UNEC but at Nsuka campus its already on and the whole thing is done offline on first-come-first-serve basis. I heard hostel accommodation is done by ballotting at UNEC but ,like i said, i dont know how its done
i’ll advice u to use the temporary nycs discharge letter issued to u by d body. so far as they hv there authentic stamp on it.
Please people in d house advise me on wat to do. I don’t hav original NYSC discharge bt got temporal one at dia headquarters Abuja wile d original will b out in March. Will my admission b withdrawn. Any body wit such case who succeeded? I don’t wnt to pay & still lose d admission. Pls help.

@SALEEM & OLUCHUKWU: It was said that the verification/registration will last for a month. Since it started on January 13th, it ought to end before February 14 (being a Friday). But i expect them to extend the date or make room for LATE REGISTRATION. THIS INFORMATION IS UNRELIABLE. @Mike: go with YOUR 2 COPIES EACH OF YOURADMISSION NOTIFICATION SLIP & SCHOOL FEES RECEIPT as well as ORIGINAL COPIES OF YOUR CREDENTIALS to the SPGS for verification, registration & Biometric data capture.

@ISA: The thing is THE PORTAL IS CURRENTLY UNABLE TO DELIVER AS WE HAD EXPECTED. SO ALL YOU NEED ARE YOUR ADMISSION SLIP AND PAYMENT INVOICE (OR SCHOOL FEES RECEIPT IF YOU HAVE PAID YOUR FEES). WHETHER OR NOT YOUR PASSPORT IS DISPLAYED, JUST PRINT WHATEVER YOU HAVE ACCESS TO AND GO FOR VERIFICATION ALONG WITH YOUR ORIGINAL CREDENTIALS
For now, we can’t print any other thing than the admission slip, payment invoice and school fees receipt. So just go with them for verification. You wont be turned back if you have those. But move along with at least 3 passport photographs

@Cornell: the most annoying part was how the ICT fellows seemed inexperienced and how lightly they took your issue. Just take solace in the fact that you have been cleared and your credentials verified.

Only few viable options….1. Pray…it changes the impossible 2. Try to get the contact and details of the name you have been seeing…try typing the name into facebook search to find out other particulars….contact the person to know if he/she experiences the same thing…I mean a name swap 3. Both of you should make contacts and go to admin to lodge a complaint…4…an help note might also be sent to the site administrator…or you visit the school main ICT complex…
We hope all things go ofuma ofuma….pls those concerned should take note and give it an urgent consideration….aside from the payment of school fee, generating of receipt and admission letter….no other link in the unn pg portal is available…all other links are with one error or the other whereas the undergrad portal is expressly well linked! Even after payment of fees….you would still receive error messages like ‘the system has detected that school fees as not being paid’…even when you printed your receipt from the same portal two days ago….Please I think the pg portal should be well linked and given equal importance and attention….the LIONS are eager to SEE, CONQUER And HIBERNATE!

Celeco U can’t correct the repeated name on the generated invoice that is a mistake from when U were filling the previous forms for application. The mistake does nt really matter, bt when paying ur fees, tell the people @ d bank so they won’t repeat your name twice on the E-tranzact for payment of fee. As for the other files that are not been update, it’s everyone so don’t be desperate-i guess the school hasn’t uploaded/update most document yet.Shalom
