UNN 2012/2013 Fresh Men Orientation: Time Table of Events


The University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) will hold her annual orientation programme for first year students on Monday, 5th November 2012.
According to the Student’s Affairs department, this year’s programme with the theme, “Incorporating core values in the vision for learning excellence: A path to restoring the dignity of Man” will take place at both Nsukka and Enugu campus from Monday November 5 to Thursday 8, 2012.
Below is a summary of the Timetable & Programme of events;

SESSION ONE

6. Motivational Speech by Prof. Chidi Onyia- “Dare To Be Consistently Different In the Pursuit of Excellence”
7. Our History- University Pride – HOD History

Note: All freshmen must locate their assigned hall for the second session (Day 1) of the orientation. The halls that will be used for the orientation are Ekpo Refectory, Princess Alexandra Auditorium, and Library Halls 1-3.
Orientation Hall assignment is based on last name (alphabetized), faculty, and hall
capacity.

Each presenter will have 40 minutes – 25-30 minutes for presentation and 10-15 minutes to engage freshmen. 5 minutes will be left for transitioning. Somedays have been adjusted to meet time concerns.
