Applications are invited from interested and suitably qualified candidates for admission into the POST-HND Programme of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) for the 2018\/2019 session.<\/p>\n
The Programme is aimed at upgrading and strengthening the academic background of holders of Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering Discipline, so as to improve their managerial skills and engineering competence and efficiency on their job, as well as ensure their enhanced industrial productivity.<\/p>\n
The Programme leads to the award of Bachelor of Engineering [B.ENG] Degree in any of the following Engineering fields:
\n(i). \u00a0\u00a0Chemical Engineering
\n(ii). \u00a0Civil Engineering
\n(iii). Electrical\/Electronic Engineering
\n(iv). Mechanical Engineering
\n(v). \u00a0Petroleum Engineering.<\/p>\n
ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS:<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicants must possess the following requirements in order to qualify for admission into the Programme.<\/p>\n (a).\u00a0 A minimum pass level of\u00a0LOWER CREDIT\u00a0at the\u00a0HND\u00a0[in any of the\u00a0Disciplines stated above].<\/p>\n (b). Credit level passes at the\u00a0O\/Level\u00a0in the SSCE\/NECO\/WASC\/GCE (or its\u00a0equivalent) in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, English Language and any\u00a0other science subject [ from Biology, Agricultural science, Technical\u00a0Drawing or Further Mathematics].<\/p>\n
