This is to inform the University Community that issuance of admission letter for the newly admitted students has commenced today, Thursday, 15th\u00a0February, 2018 and ends March 23, 2018.<\/p>\n
All newly admitted candidates are hereby informed that they are required to print their admission letters and move on to Central Registration.<\/p>\n
NOTE:<\/strong> All returning students are to note that registration for 2017\/2018 academic session\u00a0has commenced today, Thursday, 15th February, 2018 and endsMarch 23, 2018.<\/p>\n PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING STEPS CAREFULLY BEFORE STARTING YOUR ONLINE REGISTRATION<\/strong><\/p>\n STEP 1: ADMISSION DOCUMENTATION STEP 2: PROFILE UPDATE IMPORTANT NOTES STEP 3: PAYMENT OF TUITION FEES i. Pay Choice: IMPORTANT NOTES STEP 4: COURSE REGISTRATION STEP 5: SUBMISSION OF REGISTRATION DOCUMENTS STEP 6: ACCOMMODATION RESERVATION\/ PAYMENT IMPORTANT NOTES<\/strong>
\nAll new students are expected to have gone through the verification stage.
\na) Use Google Chrome Browser or Mozilla Firefox to log on to https:\/\/www.umyu.edu.ng\/ugadmission\/
\nb) To print your Admission Letter, click on \u2018Print Admission Letter\u2019 link at the left hand side. It is recommended to use a color printer to print your admission letter. Note that you can only print your original admission letter ONCE.
\nc) Click on \u2018Print Other Forms\u2019 under the \u2018Print Admission Letter\u2019 link to download and Print Student Guarantor Form, Acceptance of Provisional offer of Admission Form and Form 01.
\nd) Fill the forms diligently and proceed to the next step.<\/p>\n
\nBefore proceeding to this step make sure that you have completed STEP 1 successfully.
\na) To commence the online registration, go to; https:\/\/www.umyu.edu.ng\/ugadmission\/ enter your UTME\/ DE Reg. No and UTME score\/ DE default Password. Click \u2018Log on to portal\u2019 under \u2018Print Other Forms\u2019 link to open your personalized page.
\nb) Supply all the required information on your personalized page including your most recent passport photograph (Snapped on RED background), signature, email address, home address and phone number.<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Please ensure that all the information supplied above is to the best of your
\nknowledge correct.
\n\uf0b7 Your recent passport photograph and signature must be legible and in JPEG
\nformat less than 100kb in size.
\n\uf0b7 Ensure you click on the \u2018Save Profile\u2019 button at the end of the page to complete your registration.<\/p>\n
\nBefore proceeding to this step make sure you complete STEP 2 successfully.
\na) The system will automatically redirect you to the payment page immediately you click the \u2018Save Profile\u2019 button as described in step 2 above.
\nb) Please choose any of the following payment options to pay your school fees:<\/p>\n
\nUse this option to generate transaction ID to pay cash in any of the following Banks:- \uf0b7 Fidelity Bank (Nationwide) \uf0b7 First Bank PLC \uf0b7 FCMB Katsina Branch \uf0b7 UBA\u00a0 Katsina Branch \uf0b7 Union Bank Katsina Branch \uf0b7 Skye Bank Katsina Branch \uf0b7 Keystone Bank Katsina Branch
\nOr use Quickteller by login on to www.quickteller.com\/umyu and follow the instructions.<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Payments made at Banks other than Fidelity Bank attract an additional Bank Charge of N100.00 only.<\/p>\n
\na) Collect your University Email address from the Directorate of ICT (DICT).
\nb) To commence the online Course registration, log on to \u2018portal.umyu.edu.ng\u2019 using your university email address collected from the DICT to open your personalized page and register your courses.<\/p>\n
\nSubmit two copies of all completed forms, payment receipts, S.S.C.E scratch card and credentials to your department and academic office.<\/p>\n
\nPlease note that students can only make room (bed-space) reservation after payment of tuition fees.
\na) To make a room (bed-space) reservation click on \u2018Reserve Hostel Room\u2019 link on your portal profile.
\nb) Upon successful reservation, proceed to make payment using any of the payment options above.<\/p>\n
\n\uf0b7 Note that room (bed-space) reservation expires after 48Hrs if payment is
