This is to inform all students of University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) – those whose names appeared on the Supplementary List II, to take note of the following important information with regards to student accommodation for the 2017\/18 session:
\n1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The University has limited spaces for student accommodation.
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The accommodation is allocated on a first come, first serve basis.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 First Year and final year students are given high priority during allocation.
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 First years are allocated 40% of the total accommodation, final years 30% while others and
\nspecial needs are allocated 30%.
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All Nursing Mothers must apply for accommodation online and must notify the authorities early.
\n(You are permitted to stay alone in a room or be two persons in a room).
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The following are highly prohibited and will attract eviction from the hostel:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Squatting of any kind.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Late return to the hostel at night.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Smoking.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Drinking of Alcohol.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stealing.
\n\u2022\u00a0Fighting and quarrelling.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use of hotplates, electric boiling ring, refrigerator, gas cooker and so on.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Use of generator sets.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Defecating and bathing at undesignated places.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pouring of water in undesignated places.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Defacing of Hostel walls by posting of bills, posters and any document.
\n7.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Only students who have specifically met the following will be qualified for hostel
\naccommodation:
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Paid all school fees till date.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Registered all courses online till date.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Possess the University ID card or have been successfully captured.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Possess and use the University student email address.
\n8.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All hostel accommodation invoices are valid for only three days after generation. (Any student
\nwho fails to pay online within the\u00a0three day period\u00a0will forfeit the allocation).
\n9.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 All Rev Sisters are to follow the authorised process for accommodation.
\n10.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Physically challenged students must also generate invoice and proceed to make payments.<\/p>\n
