The Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) authorities has released the registration procedure for both fresh and returning students of the institution for the 2017\/2018 Academic Session.<\/p>\n
The procedure is\u00a0as outlined below;<\/p>\n
Registration Procedure for New Students (Freshers):<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Registration Period:\u00a02nd January, 2018 to 19th January, 2018.<\/p>\n Steps for Registration;<\/p>\n a. Data Capture:<\/p>\n On Arrival, the admitted candidate will proceed to\u00a0www.nsuk.edu.ng<\/span>\u00a0, under NSUK PORTAL tab, Select UNDERGRADUATE PORTAL, wait for the page to load, and then select \u201cNEW APPLICANT\u201d. There are two options, \u201cUTME\u201d and \u201cDE\u201d. Select your category as required. At this point you will be required to verify your Admission using your UTME\/DE Number and filling the necessary details as may be required. Kindly provide valid email address and phone number as this will be used for password reset\/retrieval when forgotten. At the point of submission, you will have an \u201cAPPLICANT ID\u201d attached to you.<\/p>\n Note:\u00a0<\/strong>Returning candidate should login by selecting UNDERGRADUATE PORTAL on NSUK PORTAL TAB, and select \u201cAPPLICANT LOGIN\u201d.<\/p>\n b. Payment for Acceptance Fee:<\/p>\n Under NSUK PORTAL tab, Select UNDERGRADUATE PORTAL, wait for the page to load, and then select \u201cAPPLICANT LOGIN\u201d. Enter your email address and password (the one specified while creating account). c. Result Verification:\u00a0Proceed to the Academic Office with the screening form and your credentials for certificate verification.<\/p>\n d, Departmental Screening\/Faculty Screening:\u00a0Proceed to the Head of Department and Faculty Officer for screening using the verified results.<\/p>\n e. Final Clearance:\u00a0A compiled list is sent to Academic Office where you are \u201cCLEARED\u201d to pay School Fees.<\/p>\n Note: if you are changing course do not proceed for this final clearance. Once you are cleared and School Fees paid, you can no longer Change Course.<\/p>\n f. Change of Course \/Programme<\/p>\n If you desire to change course, make sure you do not pay school fees. In your Applicant Portal, make a request for change of course, pay the required fees and on successful payment, download the change of course form and take it for signing. Paying of School Fees:<\/strong> Note: You will be required to pay additional fees of Portal Access and Internet Charges = N5,000 alongside the Transaction fees.<\/p>\n Profile Update and Course Form Registration:\u00a0<\/strong> Late Registration: 22nd\u2013 26th January, 2018. (Additional Fees of N5,000.00k):<\/p>\n Please note that the Portal will be closed by mid night 26th January, 2018 and students will only be able to check registered courses. Any add and drop of courses must be done within this registration period. Failure to register within this registration period will amount to forfeiting the Academic Session.<\/p>\n Returning Students Registration:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Registration Period: Registration Period:<\/p>\n All spill-over students should also make sure they register within this period as no further registration will be allowed after this period.<\/p>\n Steps for Registration;<\/p>\n Student on arrival should visit;\u00a0www.nsuk.edu.ng<\/span>, under NSUK PORTAL tab, Select UNDERGRADUATE PORTAL, wait for the page to load, then Select the \u201cSTUDENT LOGIN\u201d. You will be required to login with your \u201cMatriculation Number\u201d and \u201cPassword\u201d. When this is successful, you have to edit your profile and provide a valid email address and phone number alongside other details as necessary.<\/p>\n Note that for subsequent retrieval of \u201cPassword\u201d if forgotten, you will need either your email address or phone number for this purpose.<\/p>\n Paying School Fees;<\/strong>
\nClick on accept admission, you will be required to pay a total of N10,300.00k via \u201cREMITA PLATFORM\u201d.
\nYou have the options to pay with any of the following: Mastercard, Visa Card, Verve Card, and Bank Branch.
\nSelect accordingly and provide card details and other details as it may be required.
\nFor Bank Branch payment, you will be required to generate an invoice containing the RRR code and take it to any of the following banks: Diamond, Ecobank, UBA, Keystone, Skye, Unity, FCMB, Zenith, First Bank, ask to pay through Remita Platform. After payment is made, wait a little and return to the website to print your Admission Letter and Screening Form.<\/p>\n
\nOnce this is approved by the registrar, you will be changed accordingly by the Academic Office and you can reprint a new Admission Letter and Screening Form for the New Programme and you repeat step \u201cd\u201d, and \u201ce\u201d again.<\/p>\n
\nReturn to NSUK PORTAL TAB on\u00a0www.nsuk.edu.ng, select Undergraduate Portal, then \u201cAPPLICANT LOGIN\u201d. Enter your \u201cemail address\u201d and \u201cPassword\u201d. Select Pay School Fees and choose an option on Remita
\nThis payment follows the same pattern as in Step \u201cb\u201d above. Once your payment is completed, a Matriculation Number is automatically generated for you alongside an OTP (One Time Password) which is required as Password in the next step.<\/p>\n
\nStill on\u00a0www.nsuk.edu.n<\/span>g\u00a0, click on NSUK PORTAL TAB, and select \u201cUndergraduate Portal\u201d. On the interface, select \u201cSTUDENT LOGIN\u201d, enter the \u201cMatriculation Number\u201d generated above alongside the OTP (One Time Password) which you will be required to change. Update your profile by clicking on my Profile (very important).
\nClick on \u201cMy Course Registration Tab\u201d and select \u201cCurrent Session Course Registration\u201d to register your courses.
\nThen download and make four(4) copies for signing. On \u201cMy Fee Tab\u201d, you can reprint your School Fees Receipt\/ Invoices at anytime. On \u201cMy Downloads tab\u201d you are expected to download your Student Information Form (SIF).<\/p>\n
\nFor all returning students, you will use the \u201cPIN\u201d on your last Session School Fees Receipt as \u201cPassword\u201d. This will serve as a OTP (One Time Password) and you will be required to change this to a Password of your choice.<\/p>\n
\nStill on your User Account, click on the \u201cMy Fee Tab\u201d, and select \u201cPay School Fee\u201d. Select the Academic Session, in this case: 16\/17.
\nClick on fee details, you will be required to pay the amount on your invoice alongside N4,000.00k as Portal and Internet Charge and N300.00K as Transaction Charge via \u201cREMITA PLATFORM\u201d. You have the options to pay with any of the following: Mastercard, Visa Card, Verve Card, and Bank Branch.
\nSelect accordingly and provide card details and other details as it may be required.
