The University of Medical Sciences (UNIMED), Ondo, Ondo State established with the mission to foster excellence in teaching, research and service delivery in all health science disciplines hereby invites all eligible candidates for admission for 2019\/2020 Academic Session into the following faculties \/ courses:<\/p>\n<p>1. Faculty of Clinical Sciences; a. Medicine and Surgery<br \/>\n2. Faculty of Dentistry; a. Dentistry<br \/>\n3. Faculty of Basic Clinical Sciences; a. Medical Laboratory Sciences<br \/>\n4. Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences; a. Anatomy; b. Biochemistry; c. Physiology<br \/>\n5. Faculty of Allied Health Sciences; a. Nursing Sciences; b. Physiotherapy<br \/>\n6. Faculty of Science; a. Physics (Electronics and Medical Physics Options); b. Chemistry<br \/>\nc. Biological Sciences (Animal &amp; Environmental Biology; Microbiology; Plant Biology and<br \/>\nBiotechnology Options); d. Mathematics<\/p>\n<p><strong>ELIGIBILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>a. Candidates who made University of Medical Sciences Ondo their first and second choices in the 2019 UTME and scored 180 and above are eligible for the screening.<br \/>\nIn addition, candidates who did not choose the University of Medical Sciences Ondo and are willing to change to the University are also eligible for the screening.<\/p>\n<p>Candidates must possess five (5) credit passes at one sitting in relevant O\/level subjects including English Language and Mathematics for the MBBS\/BDS programme and not more than two sittings in relevant O\/Level subjects including English and Mathematics for other programmes in the University.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-38972 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/unn-edu.info\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/09\/unimed-post-utme-2017.jpg\" alt=\"unimed post utme 2017\" width=\"770\" height=\"312\" \/><\/p>\n<p>b. Direct entry candidates who have already applied to JAMB and who possess minimum of 10 points in relevant \u2018A\u2019 level subjects or a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in the basic medical or biological \u00a0sciences with a minimum of second class (lower division) are also eligible to apply for Medicine and Surgery and Dentistry Courses.<\/p>\n<p><strong>METHOD OF APPLICATION<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Eligible candidates should log on to University website <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">www.unimed.edu.ng<\/span> . Then, take the following steps:<br \/>\ni. Click on Admission;<br \/>\nii. Click on Post-UTME Payment to make payment via online payment system or commercial bank through e-Tranzact;<br \/>\niii. Click on Payment Confirmation if payment was made through commercial bank;<br \/>\niv. Click on Post-UTME Application after payment;<br \/>\nv. All candidates are requested to bring along the following items to the screening venue:<br \/>\na) JAMB UTME Notification of Results\/Registration Slips for Direct-Entry Candidates;<br \/>\nb) Depositor\u2019s copy of Bank Teller;<br \/>\nc) Print-out of e-Tranzact payment receipt (collected from Bank)<br \/>\nd) Printed copy of the completed UNIMED Admission Screening Exercise Online Registration Form<br \/>\nii.
