Fountain University established to be a pace-setting institution by Nasrul- Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT), was LICENSED in May 2007 by the Federal Government.<\/p>\n
The Governing Council of the University has declared the position of Vice-Chancellor vacant following the expiration of tenure of the Vice-Chancellor and invites applications from interested suitably qualified candidates to fill the vacant position below:<\/p>\n
The Vice-Chancellor is the Chief Executive and the Academic Head of the University, the Chairman of both Senate, and Congregation, and a member of the Governing Council.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n Applicant for the position of Vice-Chancellor, Fountain University Osogbo must be a distinguished scholar with outstanding academic and administrative records. He\/she must be a proven manager of human and material resources. Specifically:<\/p>\n The person must:<\/p>\n Tenure:<\/strong> The Vice-Chancellor shall hold the office for a single term of five (5) years<\/p>\n Remunerations:<\/strong> The remuneration of and condition of service for the post of Vice-Chancellor shall be as generally obtained in the Nigerian University System but will be made personal to specific appointee and as may be determined from time to time by the University Council.<\/p>\n Method of Application<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Submission of:<\/p>\n i. 20 copies of application and detailed Curriculum Vitae with essential supporting documents.<\/p>\n ii. Applicant\u2019s 2- page Vision and Mission Statement for the University.<\/p>\n iii. Medical Certificate of fitness from reputable Public Tertiary Health Institutions.<\/p>\n iv. Referees report from three carefully selected Referees who shall send their reports directly to the Registrar.<\/p>\n All the listed documents (in a sealed envelope) marked\u00a0\u201cVICE-CHANCELLOR APPLICATION\u201d shall be addressed and submitted to\u00a0The Registrar, Fountain University Osogbo, P.M.B.4491, Osogbo, Osun State not later than one month from the date of this advertisement.<\/p>\n Applicants should request their referees to forward their reports directly under confidential cover to reach the Registrar on or before the closing date.\u00a0Application closes on 9th\u00a0September, 2017<\/p>\n Fountain University established as a pace-setting institution, is a licensed private institution and owned by Nasrul- Lahi-L-Fatih Society (NASFAT). The University hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for the under-listed posts.<\/p>\n The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer of the University and shall be responsible to the Vice-Chancellor for the day-to-day administration of the University except as regards to financial matters for which the Bursar is responsible.\u00a0The Registrar is also the Secretary to the Council, Senate, Congregation and Convocation.<\/p>\n Candidates for the post shall be visionary and have the ability to provide good leadership; possess personal integrity\u00a0and must not be more than Fifty-five (55) years of age.
