JAMB has said that <\/span>the official sale of application documents set to begin on Monday, January 15th, 2024.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n **Older**<\/strong> The JAMB mock exam is scheduled to hold on Thursday, 16th March 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n JAMB invites applications from qualified candidates seeking admission into Nigeria Tertiary Institutions through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) for the 2023\/2024 Academic Session.<\/p>\n JAMB and heads of tertiary education institutions and other stakeholders in the education sector in the country have announced the minimum cut-off mark for admissions in the 2022\/2023 academic session. \u00a0As follows, Nigerian universities \u2013 140, polytechnics \u2013 100, and colleges of education \u2013 100.<\/p>\n The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has announced a new date for the 2022 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The examination date has been shifted from May 19 to July 3 with <\/span>the registration exercise will now end on May 29.<\/p>\n The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has stated that the period of sale\/ registration for the 2022 UTME exam for candidates including those from Foreign Countries is from 8th April to 15th May 2021.<\/p>\n Latest Jamb news reaching us today has it that the examination body has released procedures for obtaining the 2019 UTME and DE forms. Application commenced on Thursday, January 10th, 2019.<\/span><\/p>\n JAMB also announced that the 2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination(UTME) will now take place from Thursday, 11th\u00a0April, 2019.<\/p>\n In addition to telephones and other prohibited materials, all other electronic gadgets, device, lens; wrist watches, pen, eye glasses would be scrutunised during the exam.<\/p>\n Also Read:<\/strong>\u00a0JAMB Exam Date and Timetable for 2020\/21 UTME<\/a><\/p>\n \u200eThe JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, disclosed this at a Critical Stakeholders Meeting on Plans and Modalities for the Sale and Registration of 2019 UTME Application.<\/p>\n Oloyede said that the proposed sale of application would commence on from 10 January, 2019 to 21 February, 2019.<\/p>\n \u201cIn proposing these dates, management has taken into consideration the dates of other public examinations namely, WAEC, NECO.<\/p>\n Related:<\/strong>\u00a0How To Participate JAMB Mock 2022 UTME<\/a>\u200e<\/p>\n \u201cHaving examined that all logistics are put in place for a smooth exercise, management would strictly adhere to the sale period.<\/p>\n \u201cTherefore all critical stakeholders are advised to cooperate, collaborate, support and assist the board in this direction,\u2019\u2019 he said.<\/p>\n Oloyede said the application fees for the examination remained N3,500, adding that this was inclusive of the N300 commission paid on each application to selling points.<\/p>\n The registrar added that foreign based candidates would pay the sum of $20 dollars per candidate as against $100 and 150 dollars paid in 2017 for candidates in Africa and outside Africa, respectively.<\/p>\n Oloyede added that in the 2020 UTME, the board would introduce Electronic Jammers at all CBT centres \u200eas part of measures to ensure that the integrity of the test was maintained.<\/p>\n He said the board had met with the proprietors of CBT centres to review the 2019 exercise and plan for the 2020 UTME.<\/p>\n \u201cManagement has directed the state coordinators to visit the CBT centres in their states to carry out preliminary accreditation exercise.<\/p>\n \u201cThe results of the different levels of inspection and accreditation would form the basis of choosing centres that would participate in the 2020 exercise.\u201d<\/p>\n He stated that so far, no fewer than 620 centres had been penciled down as CBT centres.<\/p>\n According to him, the centres will undergo further scrutiny to make them\u00a0eligible for the examination and not just to register candidates. \u200e The registrar said the purpose of the meeting was to seek and incorporate all shades of opinions to add value to the board\u2019s plan and programme.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t Miss out of any Important\u00a0 Info, Always Be the First to Know!
