A Nigerian girl, Ifeoma White-Thorpe, has made history by getting accepted by all eight Ivy League schools in the United States of America (USA), including\u00a0Stanford University to make it nine.<\/p>\n
This would make it the third year in a row a Nigerian is achieving this feat.<\/p>\n
It would be recalled that a Nigerian,\u00a0Augusta Uwamanzu-Nna, got accepted\u00a0in 2016 while another Nigerian, Harold Ekeh, made it a year earlier in 2015, both were from\u00a0Elmont Memorial High School in Long Island, New York.<\/p>\n
Ifeoma, a student of Morris Hills High School in Denville, said she was literally shaking when she got the eighth acceptance letter and she is yet to make up her mind on which school to attend.<\/p>\n
White-Thorpe, a senior and student government president at her school, has to choose between Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Columbia, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton, Dartmouth and Brown.<\/p>\n
She wants to study biology and pursue a career in global health. Since all of the Ivy League schools \u201chave great research facilities,\u201d she decided to apply to them all.<\/p>\n
