2016 UNN Post UTME Update: CBT Practice begins

2016 UNN Post UTME Update.

Information reaching us has it that the 2016/2017 UNN Post-UTME Screening Exercise will be Computer Based as used last year. To help students familarize themselves with the Computer Based Test (CBT) system being used for the Screening, the University administration has provided a platform where students can practice using the system.

Please note that, no date has been fixed for the actual screening exam. Only the online practice for the cbt exam has commenced.

How To Practice for UNN CBT:
First, you need to purchase a scratch card at the sum of N500 only (excludes bank commission) from any of the following banks; UBA Plc, Fidelity Bank, First Bank or Access Bank. Then follow the steps below to practice for the Cbt.

To Register for the Cbt practice:
1)Visit http://unnprecbt.unn.edu.ng/
2) Log on with your Jamb Registration Number and the Cbt practice Scratch Card pin you must have purchased as stated above.
3) Click the “Submit” button
4) Select your course of study.
5) Enter the subjects’ you registered during the JAMB exam.
6) Click “Start“.
7) Print out the page containing your token (The number that gives you access to practice for this exam).

To begin the practice for the exam:
8) Go back to http://unnprecbt.unn.edu.ng/
9) Click on the link below the page that says “Click here to Login and take the test“.
10) Enter your Examination No (the number on the token you generated earlier).
11) Enter your JAMB registration number.
12) Click the Login button.
13) Start the Exam.
14) Submit when done.
15) See Result.
16) Log out from the system.

*How to start the exams – Once you successfully login, your welcome page preloads showing the student’s profile details and the subjects the student is supposed to write. Click on the start exams button to start the exams.

*How to write the exams – Once you click start exams button, the student’s exam page appears with the subjects he is to write, the student’s profile and the time allocated for the exams with English subject as the default subject which starts automatically.

*How to answer the questions – you can answer the questions by selecting an option or by pressing the alphabet with the corresponding letter on the keyboard.

*How to move from one question to another – you can move from one question to another by clicking the next/previous button or by pressing the right/left arrow key.

*How to move from one subject to another – you can switch to a subject by clicking on the subject tabs at the top frame.

*How to access question and subject review – you can access and view your progress by clicking the subject review, select a particular subject to view the questions answered and unanswered.

*How to pause exams – you alert or call the attention of the admin or examiner.

*How to end exams – you can end your exams by clicking the end exam button or once your exam time expires, it ends the exams for you and returns you to the log in page.
