  8. @Cornelus, you may apply if your CGPA and O’level meets stipulated criteria. NYSC and other credentials are required only during screening after gaining admission.

  9. @Segun, pass is third class and according to the advert you are eligible to apply for PGD unless your department state otherwise vis-a-vis the requirements. However, you must have a good score in the qualifying exam to stand a better chance.

  10. @Chris no deadline has been set. But application is usually open for two months or there about. Supplementary or extension may be apply but early application is better.

  11. @Cmt, that may be an over sight. Application is open for all departments/programs

I’m just looking for a way out of this dilemma. Another thing is that, I don’t know how to get the past questions in English Language for masters.

  28. @chichi, well it can’t be as the same as that offered in Community Medicine because you will have to face some courses such as PUH 820 Medical statistics 1,puh 838 medical Microbiology etc, which are not under the faculty of Education. So just go for MPH in Community Medicine.

Also, i dont know if the transcript request form can be uploaded and attached while completing unn itrancript?

  35. Chichi, everything now is online, your transcript is ready, all u need is to apply online, then ICT unit will send a copy to SPGS, for 15k, if u want your own copy, then you will be charged twice. As for downloading and attaching your transcript, I think is mainly for graduates from other universities. Ict unit will send a copy to “the secretary PG school, ( for Unn graduates) and the transcript should arrive at PG school two weeks before your form arrives. So apply for your transcript on time, goodluck dear.

  36. Bobby so are u saying that those of us that graduated from unn will apply online so that ict unit can send it to school of pg

  63. Good day house, please, I need information for the criteria of choosing Referees. Must they be lecturer or not? Thanks while looking for reply

    • Son of God! The instruction is on red ink. Kindly get two lecturers and any other person to complete it. Note to everyone out there, that are going crazy about the registration. I had same feelings too while registering. But u guys need to calm down and follow the instructions carefully. Remember to inform whoever you chose as your referees to download the form he/she will receive online so you will have a hard copy that will be filled manually. Then, your referees can now go ahead; fill and submit online, since u already have the hard copy of each of your referees. This is because, the copies of this referee form will be enclosed in an envelope. Ask questions, if you are still confuse for more clarification.

      • So we are submitting the referee form along side other documents manually?

      • my referees couldn’t download the referee form but they had filled it and submitted manually . Please how do I get a copy that they can fill manually . It’s urgent

        • Tonia, the truth is I made same mistake as you did and I sent an email to ICT to see if I can get another refree form to fill manually but I was told to submit other documents since the one online will still get to the PG schools. So I had no option than to submit without the referee form. I submitted all my credentials,i.e primary Sch certificate, secondary School result, and university statement of result Cox my original isn’t ready for now. My nysc photocopied certificate and the three printed copy from my postgraduate wall. These were the documents I enclosed in the file jacket and I glued d form D3 on both the white file and on d brown envelope. That’s the final process till the screening test date. If your referees did not download before submitting online, don’t kill yourselves, just submit the rest documents.

          • Mary Joy please what email address did you contact support with?

          • please am still confused as per the referee form,
the referees, do they need to fill the form online and manually as well?
            i need clarification please.

      • No….you have to submit them. Read the submission processes. After the referees has filled it online and submitted it, then you can print them and attached them in the 10×15 envelope that contains other supporting documents and mail it to PG address.

    • If ur sure dat they have filled it. Den go online and print it. Put ur RRR no nd u will see the forms. Den print them out. Just like u did in others

  79. Pls I have completed my registration and submitted without my referees form. Can I print it now and submit seperetly? If yes pls how do I print it?

    • we are not submitting the referees forms. when u submitted did they say anything about it no. so is not among d documents we are submitting

      • we are luchy. the referees reports forms part of the required documents to be submitted

        • I have submitted my File forms in the PG school and they didn’t ask for the referee forms

          • We are to submit it.
            1 The referee form
            2 The Application Summary
3 The Basic Information Print out
            4 NYSC certificate
5 Other documents which could include the following…
            a. Certificate or statement of result
            b. waec or neck result.

    • I did same mistake by not submitting alongside wif my referee form Cox as of den, dia was no referee form displayed at my RRR login. So my dear, now dah I later saw dat d referee form has bn displayed. I hv no option dan to print and submit everything dey asked for, including all d fotocopies of my credentials. Remember d instruction says, without d submission of d referee form, dey won’t process wif d admission. Y not jst send evrytin 2geda instead of resending jst d referee form.

  83. Please can one send the applications through courier without the referees reports because my referees are not cooperating at all? 2- Will it have any effects on the admission process? 3- what’s the next line of action to take?

    • 1. U can send it tru courier as directed.
      2. The referee form according to dia instructions, if no REFREE FORM, dey won’t proceed with d admission. So dah means, u need to plead with ur referees that u hv limited time. All dey need do is to fill d form sent to dia email and submit dahz all.
      3. Ur nxt step is to wait wen u get an information or a complain concerning ur referees wen u log in wif ur RRR number, den u print out ur referee forms alongside wif other documents as displayed. Enclose Al ur credentials in an envelope and submit as instructed.

Please is anyone applying for PhD here? I have questions on the application, the applicaiton said 180 words in your field of study which I provided but when I printed my Referee form the question changed to Special Topic within field of study!!!!! Meaning I was supposed to have discussed my research topic briefly not just field of study. I am so worried and wondering if it will affect my application, also how do I contact support to get this changed?

    • Quicky go to the school, meet the ICT unit. Lay your complaint and give them your RRR no. They will open ur page for corrections after 24hrs. Effect ur correction and den submit. I had same issue though mine is msc. And that’s how i corrected mine and submitted. Have submitted my forms too to the skul.

    • I applied for PhD, the 180 words is why you chose your field of study and not your project proposal..pls I stand to be corrected.. As for me , I wrote on why I chose my field of study n that’s what I understand as motivation letter..

      • Yes that’s what it means. I thought she said she issue with wat she wrote in the 180 words. But if it’s the field of study, then leave it that way. Your on the right track

        • Hello, pls I need clarification on the screening details for PhD students, I read something about Graduation and a Journal. Please, kindly clarify what they meant by that?

          • No kings you didn’t read it well, it means to graduate in doctoral degree, you need to have an accepted article in an international journal, the period between getting accepted and published can take 9 months, the University just wants to know your dissertation was at least accepted before they award you your degree. In conclusion it refers to graduation, please let’s connect pls pls, seems we don’t have many PhD applicants here

      • No kings, I know what am saying, have you completed your application? I mean printed out your form after all referees have responded? When you print it out you will discover that the question changed to what I Stated,

        • Thanks for the enlightenment, It just became clear to me now. I already have published papers in International Journals. we need to connect. my number is 08065446215. thanks
